A 'Free Exit' means if a candidate is allotted a seat in Round 1 and chooses not to report/join the allotted college, they will not be penalized. Their refundable security deposit will not be forfeited, and they are eligible for Round 2.
Yes, fresh registrations are allowed in Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3 (Mop-Up). However, no fresh registration is permitted in the Stray Vacancy round.
Yes. Choices filled in the previous round become null and void automatically. You must submit and lock fresh choices for every round you participate in.
If a candidate is allotted a seat in the Stray Vacancy Round and does not join, their security deposit is forfeited, and they are debarred from taking the NEET exam for the next 1 year.
Candidates must register on the MCC portal (mcc.nic.in) and explicitly opt for AFMC during registration. MCC will send the list of registered candidates to AFMC authorities. AFMC will then publish a merit list and call shortlisted candidates for further screening (ToELR, Psychometric test, Interview, and Medical Exam) at Pune.
Yes. Since 2018, candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are 100% eligible to participate against the 15% All India Quota seats without any restrictions.
